I walked in probably about 10:30-11 on a random Tuesday and there was a short line already. I was in the mood for doubles and got two delicious doubles. I regret not getting any of the bakery items because it smelled so good! Definitely going back more often.

Chicken Chow Mein w/ Vegetable fried rice is always my meal of choice. They give you a generous amount of food. Food is fresh and never oily! The line can be a little long at times but it is definitely worth the wait.

These are some of the best doubles I've had. I've had their regular doubles and shrimp doubles on two occasions and they were delicious both times. I also had their chicken roti which was tasty and the dhal puri was nice and soft. The place was somewhat crowded when I went but I received my food quickly. The currant roll I had was good too, but I definitely think it would've been better warm. I want to try their lo mein or one of the other Trini/Chinese dishes next time.

Greeted with a warm smile at the very clean counter with fresh aroma of baked good as soon as you open the door!! Ordered the chicken lo-mein, curry chicken with rice and peas, a chicken and beef patty. . Absolutely mouth watering delightful entrees . Topped it with the following: cupcake, raisin bun, and out of the oven bread pudding! You will not be disappointed. A must try!!!

I have to write this immediately after eating my doubles so I don't look back at this review and think I'm being hyperbolic. I just had the chick pea doubles with everything on it and it was quite literally one of the five best things I've ever eaten in my life. The sauces were flavorful - both sweet and spicy. The bara was so chewy and fresh. I really am at a loss. How have I never eaten these in my lifetime? It's a disservice to my past self honestly. I ate it standing up at the counter because I just couldn't wait. I have come here before to get the baked goods which are also outstanding. I love the bread pudding and of course the currant rolls. I also tried the raisin bun today which was straight out of the oven and divine. Cash only and very affordable for the amount of food AND FLAVOR you're getting.

Some of the best doubles I've had in Brooklyn! This restaurant is always busy with a line out the door. They are CASH ONLY, so be prepared! Everything is super affordable and tasty. They have savory food items as well as their own bakery and sweet things. It's quite busy and can be loud once you enter the restaurant so be sure to figure out what you want ahead of time. Even when there's a line though, it moves. And the food is well worth the wait!

My stepmother ordered some food from here for me because we were coming to visit from out of state. We wanted 12 doubles, rotis with goat, boneless chicken, and bone in chicken. Being that my stepmom was buying this the day before my visit, the lady at the store hooked it up and put all of the roti skins wrapped in paper, and all of the stewed meats in plastic containers. Love that the curries had potatoes in them. The doubles are fantastic here. The tamarind sauce was a hit here and I love the kuchela. I wish I had more of it!!! A big variety of Trinidad sodas. The champagne kola brings me back to my childhood. All throughout the day this place is cranking out the pastries. They all come out at different times of the day so it's a good idea to find out ahead of time. Will definitely have my SM order ahead again for me
